Haven’t got time for the pain.

My buddy Carlos posted this video at his blog shortly after it happend yesterday: www.ragamuffinsoul.com.  It happened at Buckhead Church.  It’s painful and hilarious, and I am the victim.  Miraculously, my Mac laptop survived!  Thank God!  But, man, what a painful few minutes finishing out the song.  But that’s what you do, man.  That’s rock and roll; that’s worship.  Check it out and leave your sympathy comments.  It hurt deeply, people.  But I’m okay.

    Thanks, man. It was excruciating to finish that song out, but there was nothing I could’ve done that couldn’t wait two minutes. All I had to do was power it back up and it worked fine. What a miracle!

    Hmm . . . makes me wonder . . . what did Jesus do when HIS laptop crashed (literally) during worship. Yeah, I think Carlos is right . . . HE would have played the next chord. So . . . little brother . . . well done.

    I saw that video this morning and cringed. A full body shiver ran up my spine. It was painful. I am so glad the laptop survived. You handled it perfectly!

    That can only happen with years of training and conditioning… well done. From this moment on the whole world will judge the reactions of other live musicians whose Macs fall based on the legendary Danny Stephens. Oh, so and so stopped playing and checked his computer…?
