It brought up so much in me, grief I hadn't dealt with, longing for my mother (always there but has become less sharp over time, fading into an ever present dull ache...), and the honour of being able to share just how much my mother loved Jesus. It was humbling to be able to share something that was so achingly painful and yet so important in my life, with so many. The Lord made beauty from ashes, as he always does. This was an amazing experience for me as well. It brought up so much in me, grief I hadn’t dealt with, longing for my mother (always there but has become less sharp over time, fading into an ever present dull ache…), and the honour of being able to share just how much my mother loved Jesus.

It was humbling to be able to share something that was so achingly painful and yet so important in my life, with so many. The Lord made beauty from ashes, as he always does.
