Check out this film by Atlantan Brandon McCormick of Whitestone Motion Pictures. I came upon it today and found it to be pretty powerful and very well done. Music is by our buddy Nick Kirk and Billy Wilkerson of the PlayChase Music Group. I’ll let it speak for itself. Please check it out and share your thoughts.

Dan Hannon is still on his Lollapalooza roadtrip with Manchester Orchestra, but has had trouble with internet access the past couple days; he should report back tomorrow.
Meanwhile, I’ve been too slammed all weekend until now to blog about my visit to Picasso in downtown Buford this past Friday night to hear Rudy Vaughn. Rudy is a guy that ONE Atlanta is excited to be partnering with on some cool up and coming stuff. More on that in the days ahead. His live set was every bit as impressive as the recorded stuff I’ve heard. He cranked out hours of cover tunes, mixed in with a few originals, bouncing back and forth between guitar and piano as he killed (in a good way) everything from Creedence Clearwater Revival to Coldplay to Michael Jackson’s Beat It.
I tried to video, but it turned out too dark. However, below is an audio clip of one of the songs from Friday night, an original of his that is also featured on the Playchase Music project, Out Of The Noise. It appears Rudy is going to be doing the Picasso gig on Fridays and Saturdays for awhile, so go check him out.
