Another Tats for Tots party is in the books, and several hundred more dollars were raised for Adopting Africa. Here are a few photos. To order Adopting Africa merchandise, click here. If you’d like to make a donation, please let us know here.
Thanks to Jamie Pierce, his wife Samantha, my wife Cindy, the Pearsons, the Wills, and everyone who helped with food and prep! I’m afraid I didn’t get pics of all the tattoos; someone probably did. Candi had a great one of her son Elias’ name in Greek.
Which one of these do you like best? And, can you tell what languages are represented?

Adopting Africa is the reason for the Tats for Tots parties going on last Saturday and this coming Saturday. It exists to fund an adoption by our friends Chad and Candy Pearson, at the record label/merchandise company P is for Panda. In fact, these two tattoo parties have also been given the moniker: Ink For Africa. Read more here and get your Adopting Africa shirt and merchandise here.

So, last night 40-50 people filtered through my family’s hacienda for the first of a two night tatooing extravaganza known as Ink for Africa:Tats for Tots 2. Just like the first Tats for Tots, Jamie Pierce’s work was excellent; all those tattooed were very satisfied customers. The party benefited Adopting Africa.
Our friends the Pearsons have branded their efforts to bring home an African orphan, calling it Adopting Africa. You can see the T-shirts in some of the pics below. You can order them here.
Several hundred dollars were raised Saturday, and there’s more to come, because…
The 2nd night of Ink For Africa: Tots for Tats 2 happens this Saturday, Oct. 11th, from noon to midnight. If you want to get inked for charity, there are a couple of slots left after 8pm. The minimum donation for getting inked is $100, and can be more depending on the size and complexity of the artwork. Contact us here for more details and/or to nail down a slot.

The details for the 2nd Tats For Tots event are cemented! It’s being called “Ink For Africa” because the proceeds go to help support an international adoption by some of our friends at P is for Panda. Having a daughter from China, my wife and I know from experience how expensive that process is.

Here’s how it works. Tattoo artist Jamie Pierce will be back with us, doing his thing from noon to midnight on both Oct. 4th and Oct. 11th at my humble abode in Cumming GA. There is a $100 minimum for each tattoo. Jamie will split his earnings with the Adopting Africa fund to benefit our friends who are adopting. Contact us here to schedule an appointment.
Terrified of needles? No problem. Your money is still welcome. Just come and hang out!
Sorry for the delay in getting these details out. Slots are already running out fast, so if you want one, please hurry up and contact us!

Tats for Tots was a success, so we’re doing it again. This time it’s to raise money for the adoption of an Ethiopian orphan by our friends Chad and Candy Pearson, of P is for Panda (a new record label and merchandise company). For an idea of what to expect, click here to see video from the first Tats for Tots.
The talented Jamie Pierce will be our tattoo artist once again. He’s awesome. We already have a lot of folks planning to get inked, so please drop us a comment here or click CONTACT to let us know if you’re interested.

Our Tats For Tots party was a success. I’ll let the video explain. There are so many more people who want tats that we’re already planning another such party to benefit a different cause we believe in. I’ll keep you posted. Thanks to the raddest and baddest tat artist, Jamie Pierce. Btw, the musical underscore is an old Moxie Davis song I found that was never released. I like it.

Friday: Evan McHugh’s Show at Eddie’s Attic
Saturday: Tats for Tots party at my house to raise money for our trip to East Asia next month. (Our team will be doing volunteer work in orphanages and children’s camps over there.) Professional tattoo artist Jamie Pierce will be doing the honors and will give half his fees toward the trip. There are only a few slots left; please contact us here to get a slot and directions. Also, anyone is welcome just to come and hang out. We’ll be going from noon to 11pm and will have refreshments. Want to sign up for a tat?
Saturday: Meghan Coffee opening for Edwin McCain at Chastain Park. If Meghan brings it like she did last week at her album release concert (and she will), then this show will be amazing; great venue, too!
Sunday: Browns Bridge Community Church in Cumming. My Summer Vacation is the name of the new series beginning at BBCC. I’ll be tinkling the ivories, so come see me.
